Bérengère Pictet was born in 1984. She began her legal education at the University of Geneva by obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in 2006. Before starting her Master’s Degree, she completed an internship at the law firm Altenburger in Zurich. She then continued her studies by obtaining a Master in Economic Law in 2008, taking part of the mobility program in Zurich. Parallel to her studies, she worked as an assistant to Prof. Andreas Heinemann in Zurich.

After a one-year spell at Credit Suisse in Zurich as a Product Manager in 2009, Bérengère completed her trainee program at the law firm Marenco Szabo in Zurich. She also obtained the STEP Foundation Certificate and Diploma in International Trust Management in 2011.

In 2012, Bérengère moved to London where she worked for a NGO, mothers2mothers while studying Human Rights at the London School of Economics. In 2015, she created the Swiss friends of mothers2mothers’ office in Geneva.

She completed the Certificate in Advanced Studies in Legal Professions in 2017 at Geneva University before joining the law firm 100 Rue du Rhône Avocats in September 2017.

Bérengère is French speaking and has very good knowledge of English, Italian and German.
