Cathie Nyvlt was born in 1990. She studied law at the University of Fribourg where she obtained a Bachelor of Law in 2013. She graduated from the University of Zurich with a Master of Law in 2015. During her studies, she completed a one-year exchange program at the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. In 2017, she obtained the Certificate in Advanced Studies in Legal Professions from the School for Advocacy in Geneva.

Prior to joining our firm, Cathie Nyvlt worked as a legal practitioner for several months for a leading Swiss business law firm in Zurich. She also gained experience during various internships, including at the Swiss Embassy in Singapore, a large American law firm based in London (Band 2 International Arbitration Practice) as well as the United Nations in Geneva working in the area of intellectual property.

Cathie Nyvlt joined the law firm 100 Rue du Rhône Avocats in October 2017 as a junior associate.

She is bilingual in French and German and has a very good knowledge of English and Spanish.
