Mélissa Palin was born in 1985. She studied law at the University of Geneva where she obtained a Bachelor of law, a Master in Economic Law and a Master of advanced studies in business law. From 2010 to 2013, she worked as legal counsel for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Regulatory & Compliance Services, in Geneva.
She completed a legal traineeship in a Geneva-based law firm specialized in litigation. She was admitted to the Geneva bar in 2015.

From October 2015 to March 2018, Mélissa worked as associate attorney-at-law in the Real estate and construction department of BianchiSchwald LLC (formerly BCCC Attorneys-at-law), a Swiss law firm specialized in business law.

Se joined 100 Rue du Rhône Avocats in April 2018 as associate.

Mélissa practices mainly in all areas of real estate law and construction law, especially in tenancy law, real estate transactions, general contractor, architect and brokerage agreement, planning and zoning law, public procurement, financing and sales to persons resident abroad (LFAIE).

Furthermore, Mélissa is active in the field of debt enforcement, notably regarding pursuits of pledged assets. She advises also clients in banking law and real estate financing as well as security of real estate transactions.

Mélissa advises private clients as well as institutional clients in drafting and negotiating agreements. She advises clients and represents them before civil, criminal and administrative courts at cantonal and federal levels.
